How we think about pricing:
  • Reposible is free. We're building something we genuinely want to use ourselves, and we want you to love it too.
  • Everything is open source. The code is yours to explore, self-host, and extend however you like.
  • We may charge in the future (if it makes sense). If we introduce paid options, they'll be for things that cost us real money to provide (think: hosted cloud, features like SSO/SAML or high-scale pipelines). The open-source core won't be paywalled.
  • No surprise pricing games. If/when we add paid tiers, we'll publish the plan, rationale, and pricing ahead of time. Simple tiers, predictable costs and no "gotchas".
  • We're optimizing for usefulness, not valuation. We're bootstrapping this as a passion project and sharing our strategy, experiences and pivots. If our funding model changes, you'll hear it from us first and we'll explain why.
  • Sustainability matters. We'll only charge once we deliver clear value. If we ever ship a paid product, it will be profitable on its own and priced to be the best value at its scale.
